We hope you are staying warm these freezing days!
We have really missed our annual teams’ visits to India the past few years (due to Covid) and we were so hoping that we could at least gather the Workers for some training this month, with a small team, but, again (due to Covid) we had to put those plans on hold. Although, thankfully, it looks like the recent rising Covid cases in India are quieting down now, we feel we still need to wait on those plans for a bit longer. Thank you for keeping those plans in your prayer!
Please also keep lifting up the prayer requests regarding the teacher training school, but it also could be on hold for a bit because the government has paused on providing the funding for the program.

Hello dear friends!
I am looking out the window as I type this note, feeling so grateful for our friend and neighbor who is snowblowing our driveway (for the 3rd time this week!). It is such a blessing to have such care shown, and it just reminded me again, of how very grateful we are for all of you, who have continued to partner with us over so many years! You have given of your time, energy, and resources, and you have prayed. As we so often say, we can only do this work the Lord has given with partners like you! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
I talked with John earlier this week and he said that in our area Covid cases are on the rise again and the authorities are deciding if they will shut down gatherings and limit travel. This is troubling news! We prayed and decided that we should wait on our plan of training for our Workers. This also means that I am waiting to buy my ticket to travel there until we see how it will all play out.

Hello friends!
Earlier this month John met up with a long-time friend, who he referred to as his brother, which confused me at first, until he explained, ‘oh! not my actual brother!’. This man was one of the young men that John’s dad had invited to live with them for some years to study and be mentored by him. After his schooling was finished he moved to another area so they had not seen each other for a long time. They are very happy to be connected again! This friend was invited to speak at a conference in Washington, D.C. and asked John for any projects that he could propose at the conference. John spent many days writing up some of the very projects we have been asking for prayer about, including the fishponds for the people in Odisha and the training school possibilities.

Thank you so much for continuing to pray & care for us and all those we love & serve in India and through the AllNations House. We are so thankful for you!
John is continuing to meet with Workers and make progress on projects in India. One of our priorities has always been to help with the training of our Workers. They are always hungering for opportunities to meet together, learn more and grow deeply, to then be able to share what they have learned with others in the Community. John is always working on the next plan to help with this kind of training. During the pandemic the Workers could not meet together so it has been a few years since they have had a time for this. John is hoping they will be able to have a training opportunity available soon!

Hello friends!
Summer is going so fast!!
Thank you for praying for the teacher training school progress over the years! John was waiting for a chance to meet with the Education Officer, before he had a chance, a young man came by the training center grounds looking to talk to the one in charge. He explained to John that he was looking for a suitable place to run his training school. He already had most of what is required ready, he just needed the place… Wow! Maybe this will be a HUGE answer to prayer!! John and he have had many discussions, met with a government inspector, and so far, it looks promising! One of the best things is that this young man would also love for one of our Workers to come regularly to meet with students to do His Work, just as we have hoped and planned for!

Dear praying friends!

We are always so thankful for you! We really could not do what we do without you. Thank you for continuing to care and pray for us and all of the Lord’s work we are helping with!
We have a new request for you this month. Last month John was able to make a visit to a neighboring state and meet with some friends we have there to see if we can help with an opportunity for them. We met these friends around 15 years ago when a whole community of families, around 100 people, came to live at our Training Center. There was a situation that happened in their state that set off a round of violence against the believers there. Many of their friends and some family members were killed, and they had to flee for the safety of their own families’ lives. It was a very difficult time for them. We were so thankful that we, with your help, were able to provide food and a safe place for them.
They stayed at the training center for nearly a year, but the whole time they were longing to go home. They speak a different language, so it was difficult for them to find jobs and their children were not able to attend school. Eventually, a political leader invited them back and assured their safety. After some thorough checking and prayer, they decided to go back. They hoped they could share the message of the Truth and Life by forgiving and loving those who hurt them.
They have been safe all these years, but it has still not been easy. The people in their village did not want them there so they have not made it easy for them. They have been just minimally living, but thankful to be in their homes.
Last month they asked John to come and see about helping them with an opportunity to take over a shrimp growing farm that had been abandoned by the owners due to covid difficulties. Please pray for wisdom and the Lord’s leading as John walks through all the details with them and helps them make decisions. It seems like a good answer for them to have the opportunity for a steady source of employment for the whole community. Thanks for praying!

0Dear praying friends!
Thank you for your continued prayer for John in India. He continues to march ahead with making the rounds visiting our Workers in all the different areas of our Work. It has been VERY hot! He is grateful that at our house we have a window A/C so he can at least sleep alright at night when he is home. The rainy season is soon to start so there should be a bit of relief coming! Although, when the rains are heavy then there is the added travel adventure when he visits the more remote areas where the roads are mostly dirt. It’s just how it is there so he will carry on as best he can!
