E-Pray July 2017

Hello friends,
We trust you are all well in the Lord. I am so glad to be back in the U.S. getting caught up with family and friends. We had a chance to see many family members at our family reunion a few days after I returned and I really enjoyed time with my little grandson, Avi! We are so excited about Avi’s little brother who will soon be born (due in August!) and another grandchild coming, too… David & Jamie are expecting a little daughter in December! What a joy it is to see the next generation coming up!
Thank you for praying for me while I was in India this past time. I have seen victories even in difficult circumstances, praise God!
The first part of my trip I spent time getting the shipment that we sent released. Thank you so much to so many of you who donated things that we needed there. It took some time for them to figure out what amount of customs to charge, but after inspecting and realizing that most all of the items were used we were charged only a minimal amount. We were able to get everything out, that we sent, which was an answer to prayer. It was such a blessing to the workers’ families to receive the useful items we were able to bring for them. They were so appreciative of all of you! It was also nice to be able to send so many of the required items needed for the school so that when we are granted permission we will be ready to start.
Last January it was wonderful to have the team come. Together we served and shared the love of the Lord to many in different villages. Weeks after the team left I kept hearing stories from the people that God had touched through the team and the ways that God had answered the prayers that the team had prayed for them.
I was so blessed this trip for all of the time I was able to spend with the workers. I had many opportunities to visit their homes to encourage them. There are many new things that God is doing in our area. We have a real concern to see many more additional workers come to serve in new unreached areas where God is opening the doors. Please pray for the Lord to raise up strong leaders with the same heart to work in these new, unreached areas.
One of the difficult things is that we hoped to get the final paperwork through to start the teacher training school, but the government officer that we were waiting on did not budge. We did everything we could. I was encouraged by the words in Hebrews 10 23 Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for He who promised is faithful. 24 And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Please keep praying for God’s plan to be done in His timing, which we know is the right timing.
We want to thank you especially for praying for us regularly and caring for us so generously. It is truly and honor to partner with all of you in bringing the glorious good news of our Lord to some of the most remote parts. It is a privilege to work with many Indian workers that God has raised up.

You are much appreciated!

In His Service,
The Nanda’s
