Hello e-pray friends!

Please praise the Lord with us that the LAND IS SOLD!! Yay!!!! Thank you so much for your continued prayer for this for the past 2 ½ years! We are so thankful!

John had hoped to make more progress with the teacher training program but because the sale of the land didn’t get finished up until the day before he left he did not have a chance. We know that His timing is perfect for accomplishing His purposes! Please continue to pray for the Lord’s leading in all decisions regarding the school.

Although John has been busy with all the dealings of the process of selling the land he was still very busy with all areas of ministry and able to travel around and spend time with the Pastors and churches. He writes…

I had many chances to meet with our Pastors and time to pray with them … as I hear their heart for God and people I am so rejoicing with them. Our national Pastors and Bible women, called by God, continue to share the love of the Lord with the Telugu speaking people of Andhra Pradesh. I have met hundreds of people whose lives are changed and communities have been transformed and as a result brand new churches have been established. These Pastors make it possible in the most remote areas for people to hear the Good News, praise God! SERVE India works with the nearly 200 Pastors and Bible women, who all live in their God given villages to serve, with the burden for the souls and passion for God. Over the years of serving God in these most difficult places in India we can all say that God answers prayer! I have witnessed Pastors spending much time on their knees seeking God’s face, day after day, week after week, month after month. Today as I look back I am amazed to see all the Lord has done, much is accomplished only through prayer. Thank you all for praying with us! We want to encourage you to continue to uphold these servants of God as they are on the front lines winning the souls for the Kingdom’s sake.

I also want to pass on to you the thankfulness felt by the cyclone victims for providing meals for them for all these months. We have been able, because of your generosity, to provide meals for about 500 families as they have been adjusting and finding their way to some sort of ‘normal’ life again. It has made a big difference in their recovery and they send their heartfelt gratitude. We thank you so much!

Pastor Elisha’s community also sends their thanks from overflowing hearts! The fishing boat we were able to purchase and give to the community is helping sustain 12 families and also helping meet the needs of the church!
