E-Pray: December 2012

Hello dear friends,
John sent a note this month… He is still working on finishing up the land sale in India and will hopefully be home in a few weeks, in time for Christmas! Please keep praying for all to go through smoothly and completely, and be finished soon! He would like to get at least a little work done on the renovations to the Training Center for the Teacher Training School before he comes. Thank you for your continued prayer for this!! :)

Dear Prayer Partners,
Your prayers and support of SERVE India are making a difference in the lives of many. The harvest truly is plentiful and the workers are few but they are increasing. God’s heart is yearning for the people of India, and all over, to come to the knowledge of Him and be in relationship with Him.
He is doing His work among us. I keep on meeting new members of the body of Christ here. We have had 5 new Pastors join with us, each one reaching to unreached villages around our area. There are 7 new church buildings under construction. In several churches they are conducting fasting prayer events, because they are expecting God to move powerfully in their ministries and families. God has blessed us with provision of funds for the new teacher training facility. I am working on the details of getting the school started. Please praise the Lord for all of His provision and His mighty work!
Recently, there have been heavy rains and flooding in Andhra Pradesh. There are still some villages that are under water in Vizianagaram, East Godavari and Krishna Districts. Hundreds and thousands of acres of crops have been destroyed. When this happens there are often many farmers who commit suicide because of the deep debt this puts them in. Please pray for the families that have been affected by the flooding devastation.
Please also pray for all of our Pastors that God would guide them in their plans and that He would speak clearly to them about how He would like them to share with people they meet and work with. Pray for this time especially around Christmas when people are very open to hear about what this Christian holiday is all about.
Please pray for all the believers that they would be filled to the measure of the fullness of Christ in them.
Please pray for the poor, the orphans, widows and lepers that society has rejected but God has embraced.
Please continue to pray for the brothers and sisters from Orissa. They are still suffering from persecution while serving our King.
Thank you so much for keeping us in your prayers. I am so grateful for the opportunity to be here in India and serve.
Thank you so much for your partnership in sharing God’s heart to many in India. May God continue to lavish His love and grace upon you!
In His Service,
John Nanda
We pray you have a very blessed Merry Christmas & a Joyous New Year!
