SERVE India

Hello dear friends!

It was so good to hear from John yesterday. He is doing well and asked us to keep praying for the sale of the land. The process is moving slowly, step by step, but moving forward, so please keep praying for all to go smoothly and for it to be finished up sooooon!

Thank you for praying for our IGO conference last month! It was so great to meet the other IGO missionaries that we have been praying for for many years. They are some really wonderful people doing some really wonderful work, all for the glory of the Lord!

I have another conference coming up this week that we have been attending for several years whenever we could. It is a 3-day conference in Louisville, Kentucky, attended by thousands of people from all over the U.S. and with speakers and break-out sessions on missions. It is always so refreshing for us to be in the middle of these folks who are all so excited about and involved in what the Lord is doing all around the world. The conference is mainly focused on medical missions, but covers all topics related to missions. There are so many opportunities to interact with leaders of ministries all over the world. We have come away with many tools, resources and ideas and still keep up with relationships with people we have met there over the years. I also really enjoy this time because there are so many smart young people there, many still in medical or nursing school, with great enthusiasm and expectant hearts for what the Lord is going to do with their surrendered lives. Woo hoo!!

All of these wonderful days are even made better because we are able to spend time with some dear friends who come from our church in Milwaukee and stay in the home of some dear friends who live there in KY and attend the church that the conference is held in. This time it is even going to be better because although John will not be here, Josh is able to go with me this year! Please pray that we will hear all that the Lord has for us and be a blessing for all those we are able to interact with, and that we will truly be refreshed. Thank you for praying!!

As always, we want to tell you how very much we appreciate all of you, your prayer and care for us and all that the Lord is doing in India through SERVE India. We could not continue without you, since that is how the Lord made it to work, so we can share the responsibilities and the JOYs of working alongside of HIM in His work for His glory!!
