“Greetings in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. I send my best wishes and love to your family. I am serving the Lord as a pastor in our village which consists of 1,500 people. Most are idol worshipers and they did not know about Jesus. So among these non-Christian people I conduct worship on Sunday, visit houses on Saturday, and hold a gathering for women on Tuesday.
In the last few months I have distributed about 15,000 Jesus tracts around the nearby villages. We also conducted four days of prayer meetings in October. In these meetings, many people came to know the meaning of Jesus in their lives and 5 people were baptized. I requested Brother John, our director, to pray for the persecution and harassment against the Christians here. Thank God, for He has heard our prayers. Now no such activities are repeated. We are blessed with 40 in the congregation and 12 Sunday school children. Pray the we have more faithful people in the church. Please pray also for a bicycle so I might get around to spread the Good News.”
